elected Mayor Steve Bennett brought several major changes to the Town of

It was further offered for consideration
that the town advertise for a police chief. Jeff
Gilbert, current Chief of Police for the Town of
Quartzsite presented a lengthy argument and brought
supporters to speak on his behalf. He was
ultimately allowed to remain in his current position
with a three year contract, the value of which was
not disclosed.
