Pelosi Wants House to OK Pro-Abortion Senate Health Care, Use Reconciliation
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) --
Leading Democrats have settled on their next strategy for passing a pro-abortion health care bill. They plan to try to talk House members into approving the Senate's pro-abortion health care bill with some changes and then having the Senate use the controversial reconciliation process.

Aides to top Democrats told the Associated Press late today that the plan is to pass the Senate bill, with some changes to it to appease House members.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her top lieutenants will present the plan to rank and file Democrats in party caucus meetings this week to see if the trial balloon will float. Pelosi already said the Senate bill doesn't have the votes without changes, so the question will be whether any proposed changes are enough to accommodate them.

The Senate would have to approve the changes to the bill using the reconciliation produced normally reserved for budget items. The move would allow the Democratic majority to pass the change with 51 votes instead of needing 60 to pas the bill over a filibuster -- which can't be stopped now that Scott Brown of Massachusetts provides Republicans with the 41st vote.

Should Senate Democrats use the process to approve the bill, Senate Republicans have promised they would do everything possible to disrupt the chamber to prevent that or future legislation.

The House would likely be voting on a revised Senate bill that would still fund abortions and have other concerns. That leads National Right to Life Committee legislative director Douglas Johnson to tell LifeNews.com that House lawmakers who vote for the pro-abortion Senate bill would be voting for government funding of abortions. America's CRATERING MEDICAL System
Why is the U.S. version of health care so completely unfunctional?  It's really pretty simple: Do the Math.

From the decision to inundate the system by sending people to emergency rooms -- the most expensive healthcare available today -- instead of providing low cost health clinics operated by young medical professionals to allowing rampant abuses with few or no consequences to completely ignoring alternatives while pushing pharmaceuticals for every 'symptom' there is, we've established a system that not only can't work, it's cratering from the sheer magnitude of itself.

The 'write your own checks' mentality does not allow checks and balances but, rather, rewards the most inefficient and duplicitous system imaginable. Frustrated and growing more ill as they age, many Americans pile pharmaceuticals upon pharmaceuticals, each adding more symptoms to their array of ailments until, finally, they give up or -- more frequently -- their doctors finally give up on them.

Insurances run out or refuse to continue to pay for repeated treatments, cancers multiply or spread, reasons abound.

G20 Summit scene of sound cannons utilized against protesters...
At the G20 summit in Pittsburg, sound weapons were utilized against protesters.  Closer to a factual accounting of the incident, sound cannons were driven through residential neighborhoods disturbing the peace far more than protesters did. Not a great day for the Pittsburgh PD who seem to have made far more enemies than friends with a somewhat silly and unnecessary  'show of power.' Microwave weapons were also reported to have been in Pittsburgh for the event. Don't miss the video.

The Left/Right paradigm should more closely be labeled 'smoke and mirrors' as each side seeks to blame the other for the difficulties currently facing the country  --   instead of simply addressing the real issues.

How realistic is it to believe that we have to constantly 'reinvent the wheel' instead of  identifying the problems and addressing them individually, with NO regard for party differences?

[The two party system is simply designed to keep our eyes off the ball while we keep waiting for the next rigged election to come along and make things right.] Key word: Rigged.

Much like the 'health care crisis' that was invented to keep Americans arguing issues over substance, a little 'simple math' is required and must be applied before any 'huge fix' [that will only compound the problem] is applied.

Instead, we have Congressmen who pass bad bills they have not read in the middle of the night, or on holidays when only a 'skeleton crew' is available. And their solution to the resulting public discontent? Simple: Turn off the Internet without consideration for any law or, even more interesting, turn control of it over to the U.N. Why would the U.S. do this? Because the U.S. isn't the U.S.: it's a bargaining chip for our illustrious leaders to utilize in order to to parlay positions for themselves in the NWO global government soon to virtually control the rest of the world.

And don't miss what's happening on the energy front, where we can all be slaves until we die... and THESE [sad excuses for humans] are our LEADERS.
